WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will rent your snowshoe hiking equipment in the St. Anton village. Then, the high altitude tour starts at 1,490 m after a 5-minute bus ride to Mooserkreuz. You will catch a glimpse of the popular Galzig slope before going deeper into the calming snow forest. Featuring various interesting highlights, and viewing points of the surrounding mountains along the way, the hike is a steady uphill towards the Arlberg mountain pass. Numerous photo-taking opportunities await during the tours.
Then, you will head back into the woods on a different trail, descending pass the famous Sennhütte, a popular lunch destination, where you can enjoy Tyrolean delicacies in a traditional mountain hut.
Lunch is optional and it consists of a main course and a dessert. Tour is dependent on snow and weather conditions.
